Homestage - Joan Laage/Kogut Butoh

Please join us for our September 10, 2022 Homestage. We’ll begin at 6:30 pm as the sun is setting

sooner. Joan will perform with live music by Joey Largent. And we are pleased that Bruce Fogg from

Olympia will perform with Joey and Michael Shannon. Bruce has been on the butoh path for many years

performing with Doranne Crable’s Kagami company based at Evergreen State College and has been

studying and performing with Joan and other teachers during the Salish Sea events (Port Townsend) the

past few years. Joan has enjoyed collaborations with Joey and Michael in the making of her Keeping

Afloat Project video, performing in gardens and on the beaches, and DAIPANbutoh Collective's festival

last year for her most recent solo Rivers Running Red.

Grab a beer, wine or sparkling water, sit back and enjoy our intimate garden performance. Donations
