Workshop — “Rift of Becoming” (2-Day Intensive)

This immersive movement workshop offers a welcoming space for anyone interested in exploring presence through the wisdom of the whole body. Grounded in trauma-aware practice, participants are invited to move at their own pace. Whether your experiences of trauma, loss, stress, or othering are obvious or quietly held, all exercises are invitations rather than demands, and there is no expectation to perform.

Drawing from Butoh, somatic practice, guided improvisation, imagery, poetry, deep listening, and MA—the living space between—participants are invited into what Sheri calls the Rift of Becoming: the fertile threshold where familiar identities can soften, new possibilities emerge, and presence becomes more fully available. Here, embodiment means learning to perceive through your whole being—not only through your eyes and thinking mind, but also through breath, sensation, intuition, memory, imagination, emotion, and relationship.…
